Foley Engines offers overhaul kits for the Deutz 1011F engine family with either oversize pistons or complete liner kits with pistons, piston rings and liners in order to bring a Deutz diesel with bores worn past .020 back to standard.
Sometime we get calls from our customers asking for a factory specification for their engine and, as you would expect, these are usually located in the manual. However the Deutz factory spec for the piston to wall clearance can’t always be found in the engine manual. In these cases, you will very often find the new piston to wall clearance stamped into the top of a new oversized piston.
