This replacement V-belt tensioner replaces the most common tensioner on Deutz 2.9 series engine with a v-belt accessory drive system, however if yours uses the less common variety the bracket will look obviously different than this bracket or it will be a serpentine belt pulley and not a v-belt pulley. These come preassembled with the bracket and pulley for easy installation. Some, but not all TCD2.2L03 engines also use this same tensioner.
