This replacement camshaft/crankshaft speed sensor works for both the camshaft and crankshaft speed sensors located under the injection pump and on the side of the front cover. The sensor comes with a new o-seal preinstalled to make swapping out a breeze. Some equipment panels that use SPN or KWP codes, might show the following error codes if this sensor has failed. Possible Codes: SPN: 190 and/or KWP: 388, 389, 390, 391, 419, 420, 421, 422, 423, 1222

Note: This sensor operates as a hall effect sensor (magnetic field sensor) and therefor signals can be disrupted by high amp power wires running too close to the sensor or sensor wiring.
