This 12V Fuel Shutoff Solenoid fits Deutz 1012 and 2012 series engines and replaces Deutz part numbers: 04199904, 04206914, 02113792 and 04506591.
The solenoid connects with the engine control rod or “rack” and modulates fuel supply from the injection pumps. These solenoids will allow added fuel at start-up and will cut fuel supply to shut the engine down. If you engine is getting fuel to the fuel injection pumps, but not to the injectors to allow the engine to startup and run it is possible that your shutoff solenoid has failed.
