Fuel Filter for Deutz 912, 913 & 914 Engines

This spin-on fuel filter replacement is the right choice for maintaining your engine properly and is manufactured by one of Deutz’s OE manufacturers. Recommended filter change intervals are after the first 50-150 hours for a new engine and then every 1,000 operating hours thereafter unless replacing fuel system components in which case it is recommended to also replace the fuel filter at this time. Prior to changing the fuel filter, close the fuel stopcock, loosen the old filter and while  removing be sure to catch any spilt fuel. Clean dirt from the filter housing cartridge with a lint free cloth, apply a light film of lubricating oil or diesel fuel to the rubber gasket and then turn the new filter finger tight plus a half turn, open the fuel stopcock and check for leaks.
