Please read carefully before installing your Deutz, John Deere or Perkins industrial engine. These are precision industrial engines and factory recommendations should be followed.
Good performance and long service life depend on the correct cleaning, assembly, service and operation of this and all related components. Remove oil plugs; clean oil passages thoroughly. Please install the new filters we shipped with this engine and change them regularly. Please also consult the Workshop Manual we ship with all engines for more information on this.
Only a qualified mechanic should assemble this job and it is his responsibility to draw to our attention, at the time of assembly, any possible defects in our workmanship and/or materials. We cannot be responsible for the assembled unit unless care is taken.
