Last week late in the day just before the July 4th holiday, the World Bank called us. They needed a Hurth HBW150 transmisison shipped ASAP for an important client. The catch was that it had to be in Washington, DC before 8:00 AM the next day. The Foley Team went into action and came through for the customer. We shipped a new Hurth HBW150 just before we closed for the holiday and it was delivered the next morning before 8:00 AM in DC. To ensure that the Hurth transmission would be easily installed, we provided the World Bank with a free Hurth Workshop Manual, a container of our Hytork Fluid, Tech Tips from our web site, and a new damper plate.
This experience reminded us of the time we rushed out a Ford industrial engine water pump to the Federal Reserve Bank for delivery on a Saturday morning during a major snow storm. See "Foley Bails Out the Federal Reserve (...In a Manner of Speaking)" in the Newsroom for January 21, 2008.
