And not just the easy parts like say a set of rod bearings for a Perkins 4236 but also the hard ones like an exhaust scrubber (see Tech Tip # 13 later in this site) so the same engine would be OSHA legal while working in a tunnel tonight at Boston's Big Dig. (Foley supplied most of the exhaust scrubbers and purifiers on the Big Dig, the largest ongoing public works project in North America).
Some of the more than 600 engines that we stock are new Perkins 4236 diesels. When we learned that Perkins was no longer going to manufacture the Model 4236, we purchased the last new ones coming off the production line. We're told that we have the last new 4236 Perkins diesels in the world. As a result we stand ready to help a customer with a new 4236 replacement engine at about the same price as a local rebuilt. Because we think long term and can afford to take a strong position we can support your engine needs regardless of what a manufacturer may decide.
